God's Way
"But now I want to lay out a far better way for you." I Cor. 12:31 Message
Are your eyes on God's "better way for you"?
... Not your way but His. You know where your eyes are focused today. Doesn't it just feel better on the inside to think that God has a "far better way"? It means all the pressure is off you. You can step out into your world and live with your "eyes on Jesus". He invites you to study his life from every angle. And just as He didn't lose sight of where he was headed ... so ... he wants you to finish with Him. He can put within you his very life and spirit to "put up with anything". He doesn't want you walking around in the dark. The world will present every shade of distraction and false promises today for one reason: to get you to take your eyes off Jesus. When your eyes are on Him ... you see the real race worth running. It only takes a moment to ask Him for the far better way of His life. Any other way will leave you far short of living your whole life today. Your way or His ... ??????
"Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed --- that exhilarating finish in and with God --- he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever." Hebrews 12:2-3...
